Lost City of Z este un film bazat pe fapte reale, povestea exploratorului britanic Percy Harrison Fawcett, ce încerca să găsească așa-numitul City of Z, în 1925, moment în care a dispărut, împreună cu întreaga sa echipă. În următorii 70 de ani, numeroși exploratori au încercat să recreeze pașii lui Fawcett. Filmul este bazat pe cartea non-fiction scrisă de David Grann.
