Un grupo de estudiantes de instituto, que van con su profesor a un yacimiento arqueológico, descubren una momia en una cueva sellada. Tras sacarla de allí, ésta pronto vuelve a la vida, demostrando ser una bestia inhumana que aterroriza a un pequeño pueblo de California. Realizada años atrás bajo el nombre "Teenagers Battle the Thing", no se estrenaría hasta bastante más tarde con el título de "Curse of Bigfoot" y con metraje añadido.
